Somerset County’s Smith Island, a 45-minute boat ride
from Crisfield, is one of the oldest English-speaking
communities in the region. Actually composed of multiple
islands, Smith Island is home to three communities:
Ewell, Rhodes Point, and Tylerton (pictured here).
