CHESAPEAKE BAY FOUNDATION
CBF is hunkering down this winter, resolutely defending the
Clean Water Blueprint. And, we do this with renewed vigor,
knowing that implementing the Blueprint makes both environmental and economic sense (page 6). For as the now-baren branches will once again turn green, so will the
Chesapeake region blossom with the benefits of clean water.
We’ve accomplished a lot together this year and we are
already being rewarded for our efforts (page 16)
Environmental education is advancing in Virginia (page 15).
And, pollution-reducing trees are taking root in Baltimore
County (page 23).
During this season of recovery and preparation, help shape
the year that approaches. Explore simple living in Lancaster
County and examine your own footprint (page 10). Enjoy some
oysters and recycle the shells (page 18). Mail a letter to your
member of Congress (page 24). And, enjoy the season!
