Supporting a Better Bay
My family and I moved from California to Philadelphia in the 1970s.
We soon became enchanted by the Chesapeake Bay. The marine
life—rockfish, oysters, crabs—makes the Bay such an interesting place.
We found ourselves traveling to Maryland frequently to sail and
enjoy all that the Bay has to offer. We loved it so much that in 2003, we
built a house near the Chester River, a beautiful place.
We support CBF because we want to see the Bay get better. CBF does important
work, protecting wildlife, working with our elected officials to bring about Bay-friendly
legislation, and teaching people about the importance of clean water.
I’m optimistic that we can maintain our progress and achieve a healthy Bay.

Supporting Clean Water
CBF’s vast network of more than
240,000 dedicated members,

testimony that the people of the
Bay region believe that a saved
Bay is worth the fight.
